Washington State University police are calling for Liam Jimmons to be charged with felony assault after the USC defensive lineman decked a fan, according to Elena Gardner of KXLY 4 News.
An unidentified USC player, later revealed to be Jimmons, was caught on video delivering a hit to a Washington State fan following the Trojans' loss on Sept. 29. The fan has reportedly been admitted to hospital twice after suffering a concussion from the incident.
The decision on whether or not to charge Simmons will be made by the Whitman County Prosecutor's Office. Washington State police are recommending a felony second-degree assault charge.
