Saban: 'I'm glad we're not No. 1'

Alabama not finding itself ranked No. 1 in a poll is a rare occurrence, but the head coach doesn't seem too worked up over the initial College Football Playoff rankings.

Crimson Tide's Nick Saban said on his radio show Thursday he was happy his team was slotted in at the No. 2 spot behind Georgia.

"I'm glad we're not No. 1," Saban said, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com.

Saban said earlier in the week that he didn't care about the poll and he was focused on winning Alabama's remaining four games, but you can bet the 66-year-old will be using this ranking to motivate his team the rest of the way.
