The Chicago Blackhawks' power play finally broke through.

Artem Anisimov found the back of the net with the man advantage midway through the second period Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers, ending a stretch of 18 consecutive Blackhawks power-play opportunities without a goal.

Chicago was held in check in its first three chances Wednesday night before Anisimov converted.

The Blackhawks entered the contest having been held without a power-play marker in 15 straight opportunities - a span covering more than three full games.

Coming into Wednesday's game, only three NHL clubs had a worse power-play percentage than Chicago (12.7) for the season, and the Blackhawks' home power-play success rate (6.7) ranked above only two others.
