Puig guarantees Dodgers will push World Series to 7 games

Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports

Yasiel Puig is expecting the World Series to go the distance.

Moments after the Los Angeles Dodgers suffered a crushing 13-12 loss to the Houston Astros in Game 5 to go down 3-2 in the series, the outfielder predicted his side will take the next game in Chavez Ravine.

"This is not going to be finished Tuesday," Puig told reporters, according to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times. "There is going to be a Game 7."

Puig certainly has reason to feel confident with the series shifting back to L.A. for Game 6, and potentially Game 7. Los Angeles went 57-24 at Dodger Stadium during the regular season and have lost just once in six postseason games.

The Dodgers haven't won a World Series since 1988, while the Astros have never won in their 55-year existence.
