LeBron joins MJ as 2nd player with 10-plus points in 800 straight games
With his 10th point in the first quarter against the Washington Wizards on Friday night, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James joined Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA history to score in double figures in 800 consecutive regular-season games.
Jordan did so from March 25, 1986 through Dec. 26, 2001 with the Chicago Bulls and Wizards for a streak of 866 contests. James' streak began on Jan. 6, 2007.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sits third with a streak of 787 games (Dec. 4, 1977 through Dec. 2, 1987).

James last failed to register at least 10 points on Jan. 5, 2007 when he scored eight on 3-of-13 shooting in a Cavaliers victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
He entered Friday trailing Jordan on the all-time scoring list by 3,300 points.
Ahead of last season, James admitted he's motivated by "the ghost" of Jordan. He looks up to His Airness, and wants to put himself in a position to be considered the greatest player of all time, a title Jordan currently holds.
