Kobe Bryant is focused on dominating the business world the same way he did the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend revealed he had a bit of a head start, having been a major partner with ad firm Zambezi while he was still hooping.

"The sports industry is very competitive," Bryant told ESPN's Darren Rovell. "If everyone knew I was part of an agency, I'm not sure we would have got the business that we won."

One of those off-court victories came in the form of a commercial starring an on-court foe.

The Black Mamba scripted this Vitaminwater ad featuring Dwight Howard in 2009 - then the leader of the Orlando Magic - which ran during their NBA Finals matchup.

"I wrote that s---," said Bryant, who added he loves business as much as he loves basketball.

Bryant averaged 32.4 points, 7.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals in the series to down the Magic in five contests. The performance saw him capture Finals MVP honors and the fourth of his five championships.

Bryant looks to match that success in a totally different realm as he invests and looks to grow his fortune of roughly $500 million.
