It only took Ben Simmons four games to record his first career triple-double.

Simmons, the 2016 top overall pick, scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to victory over the Detroit Pistons.

He added 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a stellar 33-minute performance. Simmons repeatedly used his size and handle to get into the paint and collapse the defense to create open looks for himself and his teammates.

Simmons has now posted 10 or more rebounds in each of his first four games. He's also averaging 17 points, 10.8 boards, and seven assists on 59 percent shooting as he easily leads the race for Rookie of the Year.

Sixers center Joel Embiid added 30 points and nine rebounds in the 97-86 win.
