Dodgers chase Quintana early in do-or-die Game 5 for Cubs
The Los Angeles Dodgers could practically taste the World Series heading into a possible NLCS-clinching Game 5 in Chicago on Thursday, and they weren't going to let Jose Quintana stand in their way.
L.A. chased the Cubs starter from Game 5 before he was able to complete three innings.
Quintana threw 50 pitches through two-plus innings, allowing two doubles and a home run - to Kike Hernandez in the second inning.
The Dodgers didn't stop there either, potting five additional runs in the third inning, thanks to a second homer from Hernandez - a grand slam - giving Quintana an ugly pitching line to end his evening.
