Urban Meyer 'can't ever imagine' rooting for rivals Michigan, Penn State

Joe Maiorana / USA TODAY Sports

Ohio State is enjoying a bye week, but that doesn't mean it won't have a vested interest in Saturday's proceedings.

Penn State will be hosting Michigan in a game that could change the landscape of the Big Ten East and potentially the national title picture. Both the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes are undefeated in Big Ten play, while the Wolverines are 2-1.

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is just having a difficult time figuring out who to root for.

Believe or not, Meyer should probably be pulling for his biggest rival, Michigan. If the Wolverines win, it would leave only Ohio State and Michigan State as undefeated in the East. Not to mention, Ohio State is also behind Penn State in the national rankings.

The Buckeyes still have to play all three aforementioned teams, so it should be an exciting conclusion to the divisional race.
