The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Emeka Okafor, Kris Humphries, and James Blackmon Jr. to bring their roster down to 15, the team announced Saturday.

Okafor and Humphries were signed at the start of training camp and were by no means locks to make the team. The former hasn't been on an NBA regular-season roster since 2012-13, but appeared in five preseason games for Philadelphia. He will join the Sixers' G League team in Delaware in hopes of an eventual NBA return, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

Humphries, 32, played 56 games for the Atlanta Hawks last season, but may be better known for his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian in 2011. He previously played under Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo with the Toronto Raptors.
