Watch: Cal's Bowers front-flips over Washington State defenders for TD

Syracuse wasn't the only team to pull off an upset Friday night. California stunned No. 8 Washington State, crushing the Cougars 37-3 in Berkeley.

Golden Bears quarterback Ross Bowers provided the dagger early in the fourth quarter, and also provided what's possibly the highlight of the year so far.

On third-and-goal, Bowers dashed for the end zone. Before he could be stopped by two Cougar defenders, the sophomore signal-caller executed an incredible acrobatic front flip across the goal line for the score.

"I didn't think I could go left or right, so why not over the top," Bowers told reporters after the game. " So, luckily I was able to land safely."
