Syracuse head coach Dino Babers steered his team to a seismic 27-24 upset of No. 2 Clemson on Friday, but was still reverent towards his opponent postgame.

Clemson's chances of repeating as national champions took a hit Friday but Babers believes the Tigers will be back Jan. 8.

"I'll say it right now: I think Clemson is still going to play for a national championship. That's a fantastic team," Babers said postgame via ESPN's David Hale.

It wasn't just Syracuse's coaching staff that remained impressed by Clemson. Syracuse linebacker Zaire Franklin revealed that Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney visited the winning locker room to congratulate them.

"That's one of the classiest things I've seen in my life," Franklin said. "To have been knocked down like that and have the humility to come talk to us, that was cool as hell."

Cole Murphy's 30-yard field goal with over nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter gave Syracuse a 27-24 lead and they held on for the victory, in a moment the program surely won't forget anytime soon.
