Poll: Was Game 5 Dusty Baker's last game with Nationals?

Geoff Burke / Reuters

It happened again.

On the five-year anniversary of the Washington Nationals blowing a 6-0 lead to the St. Louis Cardinals in the playoffs, the club failed to advance past the National League Division Series in it's fourth consecutive attempt, losing to the Chicago Cubs 9-8.

Upon the conclusion of what was a long, complicated, and erratic game of baseball, the future of Nationals manager Dusty Baker immediately came into question as the skipper's contract signed with the organization prior to the 2016 season came to its end.

While reports have claimed the Nationals are interested in re-signing Baker to a new deal, the 68-year-old's future could be in jeopardy considering the Nationals' continued deficiency during the postseason.

Was this Baker's last season as Washington's manager? Or will the skipper return for at least next season?
