Aaron Judge has whiffed his way into the record books.
The New York Yankees slugger claimed the unenviable distinction of striking out more than anyone in a single series in MLB postseason history with his third-inning punchout during Game 5 of the ALDS on Wednesday.
Judge was struck out by Cleveland Indians starter Corey Kluber in both the first and third, giving him 14 strikeouts for the series. The record was previously shared by Brandon Moss, Austin Jackson, and Javier Baez.
PLAYER | YEAR | TEAM | AB | K |
---|---|---|---|---|

Javier Baez | 2016 | CHC | 30 | 13 |
Austin Jackson | 2013 | DET | 20 | 13 |
Brandon Moss | 2013 | OAK | 18 | 13 |
Judge, who struck out an MLB-high 208 times during the regular season, finished the series 1-for-20 with one double and four walks.
