There was some movement among the top Heisman Trophy candidates in a dramatic Week 6, with a new player jumping into the top spot, and another joining the top five for the first time all season.

Here's how the best in the nation look after six weeks of play.

5. Josh Rosen, QB - UCLA

UCLA had a bye this week, but Rosen stays on the list thanks to his incredible start to the season. The highly touted pivot remains first in the country with 2,135 yards passing and sits second in touchdowns with 17.

Rosen has a couple of chances to pad his stats against Arizona and Oregon before back-to-back road contests against the stout defenses of Washington and Utah.

4. Luke Falk, QB - Washington State

Welcome to the Heisman Power Rankings, Luke Falk. The prolific Washington State quarterback jumps into the top five following another impressive performance, this time against Oregon. Falk threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns in a win over the Ducks that made the Cougars 6-0 - and sure to move up from their No. 11 ranking.

Falk now leads the country with 19 touchdown passes and sits third in yards at an even 3,000. Thanks to his play, the senior is flying up NFL draft boards, and could cement his status as a first-round pick with a solid finish to the season.

3. Baker Mayfield, QB - Oklahoma

While Mayfield had a strong showing Saturday, his Oklahoma squad suffered a stunning upset at home to 31-point underdog Iowa State. That won't help the pivot's Heisman chances, as he was unable to lead the Sooners to a tying score late in the contest.

Mayfield will attempt to regroup against Texas in the annual rivalry game next weekend. The Longhorns' defense has been stout recently, so a solid performance should keep him in the hunt.

2. Saquon Barkley, RB - Penn State

Barkley was held in check for much of Saturday's game against Northwestern, but the Penn State star did manage to rip off a trademark 53-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

While that's certainly impressive, Barkley only finished with 75 yards, marking the second straight contest in which he's been held below the 100-yard mark. Following a bye, the Nittany Lions face Michigan, Ohio State, and Michigan State in consecutive weeks. If Barkley can put up numbers against those dominant defenses, expect him to rise to the top of the Heisman rankings.

1. Bryce Love, RB - Stanford

Utah's defense kept Love bottled up for most of Saturday's game, but the Stanford weapon eventually broke through with a monster run a couple minutes into the fourth quarter.

Love finished with 152 yards on 20 carries, meaning the standout junior has topped 150 yards in every game this season. The Cardinal face Oregon and Oregon State in their next two matchups, so Love has an opportunity to beef up his numbers ahead of back-to-back contests against Washington and Washington State.
