Report: Michigan's Speight may be done for season with 3 fractured vertebrae

Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight suffered three fractured vertebrae Sept. 23 against Purdue and is 'likely out for the season,' according to ABC's Chris Fowler.

Speight's injury was suffered after just four pass attempts in the game. His senior season seemingly concludes with 44 of 81 completed pass attempts for 581 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

John O'Korn replaced Speight to finish the game against Purdue and he received Saturday's start against Michigan State. He entered Saturday with 19 completions on 27 pass attempts for 307 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
