Bulls' Dunn out 2-4 weeks after open finger dislocation

Kris Dunn will miss the next two-to-four weeks with a finger injury on his non-shooting hand, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.

The second-year Bulls guard suffered an open dislocation of his left index finger while contesting a shot by Bucks rookie Sterling Brown on Friday night. Not only did the finger dislocate from the joint, but the bone reportedly broke through Dunn's skin, requiring stitches.

In 78 games with the Timberwolves last season, Dunn averaged 3.8 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game. After a disappointing rookie campaign, he was given a do-over and a chance to start after getting traded to the Bulls in the Jimmy Butler blockbuster.

With Zach Lavine recovering from a torn ACL and Cameron Payne undergoing foot surgery in September, it appears point guard duties will fall to Jerian Grant, at least until Dunn returns.
