United Airlines gives passenger in-game updates of ALDS through Twitter
One Cleveland Indians fan was on the receiving end of a surprisingly kind gesture from United Airlines during Game 2 of Friday's dramatic American League Division Series.
The passenger voiced his displeasure through Twitter, informing United that its WiFi was stopping him from checking the score of the game.
We're sorry for the poor internet today, Blake. The score is 2-3, with the Indians in the lead. Top of the 3rd right now. ^AD

The airline came through, but it wasn't done there.

United would go on to provide multiple updates, none more important than Francisco Lindor's clutch grand slam that trimmed the Yankees' lead to one.

How much of a fan "Hayride Blake" is remains to be seen, as he referred to extra innings as overtime - a well-known term in every other sport other than baseball. Still, he thanked United for its help.

The Indians went on to win the game thanks to a walk-off single from catcher Yan Gomes, providing his team with a 2-0 series lead in the process.
United was the focus of worldwide controversy stemming from an incident on April 7, when a passenger was forcibly removed from his seat.
