Despite practicing in full on Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers are continuing to err on the side of caution with LeBron James.

The All-Star forward will miss his second straight preseason game on Friday when the Cavaliers host the visiting Indiana Pacers at Quicken Loans Arena.

James has been sidelined since stepping on teammate Cedi Osman's foot during the second day of training camp, turning his left ankle in the process.

Cleveland has three preseason outings remaining after Friday before the regular season gets underway on Oct. 17 against the Boston Celtics.

It remains to be seen how much action James will see before then, with head coach Tyronn Lue recently saying that the 32-year-old will take the floor at some point.

This will be James' 15th season in the Association. He's coming off a 2016-17 campaign in which he averaged 26.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.7 assists on 54.8 percent shooting.
