Report: Alabama's Hand expected to miss 3 games with sprained MCL

It doesn't appear that Da'Shawn Hand will miss an extended period of time, as sources told Matt Zenitz of AL.com that the Alabama star is only expected to be out for three games.

That would put the defensive lineman on track to return against LSU on Nov. 4. He'd miss games against Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

Hand sprained his MCL in Saturday's win over Ole Miss, but will apparently avoid a long-term layoff on what looked like a serious injury at first.

The senior standout is one of the Crimson Tide's most important defenders and is expected to be selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
