Boston College's Ky Bowman: Impressing early for BC

Bowman (knee) appears to be at or near full capacity, as shown by his participation in the team's August trip to the Bahamas.

Analysis:

Bowman suffered a scary knee injury in March, but avoided ACL damage and only required minor surgery that put him on the shelf for a 6-to-8 week period. His recovery time appears to be wrapped up, and head coach Jim Christian described the soon-to-be sophomore's game as on a "different level" (per ESPN's Jeff Goodman). The 6-1 guard racked up averages of 14.3 points, 4.8 boards and 2.9 assists across 32 games for the Eagles in 2016-17, and early indications suggest those numbers are headed for a spike, especially in the assists department. With room to grow on a young team void of major playmakers (with the exception of Jerome Robinson), Bowman could serve as a sneaky sleeper in ACC-only formats in the upcoming campaign.
