Report: Kerr travelling without Warriors due to passport issue

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was whistled for a travelling violation.

With players and the rest of Kerr's coaching staff en route to Beijing and Shanghai, China for a pair of NBA Global Games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kerr will take a separate commercial flight later Sunday due to issues with processing his passport, leagues sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Had Kerr's passport been further delayed, lead assistant coach Mike Brown would have assumed interim duties, as he did during the 2017 Finals, Haynes reports.
