All 4 coaches arrested in NCAA probe suspended by respective schools
All four assistant coaches arrested in a wide-ranging NCAA basketball corruption scheme Tuesday have been suspended by their respective schools.
Auburn suspended Chuck Person without pay, Arizona has suspended Book Richardson, USC has placed Tony Bland on administrative leave, according to CBS Sports' Gary Parrish, and Oklahoma State announced that Lamont Evans has been suspended with pay.
In one of the biggest crackdowns in years on corruption in college basketball, a total of 10 people - including Adidas executive James Gatto and the four aforementioned assistant coaches - have been charged with using hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to influence athletes' choice of schools, shoe sponsors, agents, and financial advisers.
Louisville has also confirmed they are under federal investigation.
