Bulls' Lopez comes to Warriors' defense, implies Trump will be impeached

You may now add Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez to the growing list of NBA stars who took to Twitter Saturday to take digs at President Donald Trump.

The basketball world is loud and clear in its displeasure with Trump after he tweeted out that an invitation to the White House for the Golden State Warriors was being annulled. This came as a response to Stephen Curry saying he didn't want to go anyway.

The 2017 NBA champions have no need to brood, though, because as Lopez sees it, Trump will meet a similar fate as them if he continues down the road he's on in office.

Lopez has a reputation for being quite the jokester, as evident by his constant shenanigans with mascots across the Association. It's clear he's siding with the majority of his comrades against Trump, but remaining true to himself, Lopez tossed in some subtle humor to his tweet.
