Michigan's offense was dealt a blow on Saturday against Purdue as starting quarterback Wilton Speight left the contest in the first quarter with an apparent injury.

Speight took a massive hit to the back of his helmet as he was sacked under pressure from a Boilermakers blitz. After spending a couple minutes on the turf, he would walk off under his own power, heading straight to the locker room with the training staff.

John O'Korn would enter the game on the next series for the Wolverines.

Speight entered the game Saturday with 571 passing yards and three touchdowns on the season.
