The Miami Heat just made the ultimate announcement.

The team revealed Thursday it's partnered with Ultimate Software on a multi-year jersey-patch deal that will see the South Florida-based software company's logo placed on the upper right side of the Heat's new Nike jerseys.

In a press conference via Facebook Live, team president Pat Riley said the players will wear the patch "over their heart, over the Miami Heat" with great pride, and get great results.

The Hall of Famer noted that both the team and its jersey sponsor are pillars of the local community and share the values of civic education, fan experience, and charitable endeavors.

Riley also announced that the Heat and Ultimate Software have pledged $1 million toward Hurricane Irma relief and recovery. Riley and his wife will personally donate an additional $1 million to the cause.
