Mayfield sides with Taylor Swift over Katy Perry: No comparison
After blaming Katy Perry for Oklahoma's subpar 2014 season, star quaraterback Baker Mayfield put it on the record Monday that he's on the Taylor Swift bandwagon.
"I don't think there's any comparison," Mayfield told reporters Monday in a humorous press conference moment.

Earlier, Mayfield had attributed the Sooners' disappointing 2014 campaign to Perry flirting with then-starting quarterback Trevor Knight during a guest appearance on ESPN's "College GameDay."
The pop star had told Knight to give her a call, and Oklahoma went 4-5 the rest of the season. Mayfield sat out that campaign after transferring from Texas Tech.
