Packers' Nelson, Cobb exit with injuries vs. Falcons
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense was very short-handed against the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday night's 34-23 loss, losing receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb to injury.
Both were deemed questionable to return, but did not come back on the field after leaving.
Nelson left in the first quarter with a quad injury and was seen riding an exercise bike along the sidelines. He did not record a catch.
Cobb lasted longer than Nelson, recording six catches for 60 yards and one 10-yard rush, before exiting late in the game with a shoulder injury.
The Packers were already missing starting offensive tackles Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari, along with backup lineman Jason Spriggs. Starting guard Jahri Evans also left the game with a groin injury.
