Tigers' Boyd throwing no-hitter through 8 innings vs. White Sox

Matt Boyd is rolling against the Chicago White Sox, as the Detroit Tigers starter has yet to allow a hit in eight innings.

Boyd retired Matt Davidson, Tyler Saladino, and Willy Garcia in order on 14 pitches to head into the final frame with the no-no intact.

Boyd has thrown 105 pitches in the contest, 67 of them for strikes. He's also walked just one batter in the game and struck out five.
