Deebo Samuel out for season with broken leg

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

One of the most exciting players in the country is done for the season, as South Carolina star Deebo Samuel broke his leg in Saturday's loss against Kentucky.

As per Daren Stoltzfus of WCIV, head coach Will Muschamp announced the injury during the post-game press conference following the disappointing conference defeat by the Wildcats.

It's a massive loss for the Gamecocks as Samuel is easily the most dangerous weapon on the offensive side of the football. In three games this season, the junior has two kick return touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns and a rushing score.

South Carolina hosts Louisiana Tech next week in non-conference action.
