The Calgary Stampeders keep running away with the CFL's West Division.

The Stamps extended their winning streak to eight games with a 27-13 victory over the BC Lions on Saturday.

Calgary took a seven-point lead into the fourth quarter and extended their lead by another seven to move to 10-1-1 on the season - six points clear of the second-placed Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was inefficient through the air, going just 16-for-31, but he finished with 240 yards passing and two touchdowns. Running back Jerome Messam rushed just seven times for 40 yards, with six other players recording at least one rushing attempt.

The touchdowns were hauled in by receivers Marken Michel and Reggie Begelton. Michel led the receiving corps with 95 yards on the night.

The defense sacked Lions quarterback Jonathon Jennings a total of four times, limiting him to 167 yards passing. He completed just 15-of-29 passes with three interceptions.

The Lions stay in last place in the division with a record of 6-6-0.
