The field continues to jockey for position in the FedEx Cup standings, with the top 30 spots in the playoffs earning a trip to the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta.

Hudson Swafford, Mackenzie Hughes, and Francesco Molinari have made the biggest jumps this week through two rounds, while Louis Oosthuizen, Henrik Stenson, and Jason Dufner have all hurt their chances of qualifying for East Lake with their disappointing play.

Here's a look at the projected FedEx Cup playoff standings after the second round at Conway Farms Golf Club:

Among the notables, Jason Day remains in good shape to qualify, backing up his Thursday 64 with an entertaining second-round 65. Patrick Cantlay jumped a projected 20 spots Friday, after opening the tournament with rounds of 67-65 in just his 12th event of the season.

Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy fired a 2-under-par 69 in the second round, but his season will likely conclude Sunday. McIlroy needed a fifth-place showing or better to move on, but sits in a tie for 50th.
