The Cleveland Indians and American League MVP candidate Francisco Lindor didn't go down without a fight.

The stud shortstop defined clutch on Thursday with a game-tying RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning, keeping his team's 21-game win streak alive by sending the game into extras.

Not only were the Indians an out away from seeing their historic win streak end, Lindor's back was up against the wall with two strikes against him. Instead, he drilled a 96-mph fastball from Kansas City Royals closer Kelvin Herrera opposite field to score Erik Gonzalez.

Lindor's double allowed the Indians to eventually win their 22nd straight game as outfielder Jay Bruce walked the game off in the bottom of the 10th inning.
