Report: Eagles sign kicker Jake Elliott, send Sturgis to IR

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing place-kicker Jake Elliott off the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad and placing kicker Caleb Sturgis on injured reserve/designated to return, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday.
That makes Elliott the only healthy kicker on the Eagles' roster.
The Bengals selected Elliott with their fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft. He played four years for Memphis, going 21-for-26 from all distances last season and making two of his three attempts from outside 50 yards. Over his four years, he went a combined 10-for-16 from 50-plus yards.
Sturgis suffered a hip flexor injury in Week 1 against the Washington Redskins. The IR designation requires him to sit out at least eight weeks.
