FIU-Indiana game canceled due to Hurricane Irma aftermath

Aaron Doster / USA TODAY Sports

The game between Indiana and FIU scheduled for this Saturday has been canceled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, the Hoosiers announced.

Indiana was set to host the contest in Bloomington, but FIU opted to cancel because of the difficulties traveling would pose after the storm. The two teams plan to schedule another game in the future.

The Hoosiers have instead scheduled Charleston Southern on Oct. 7, which would have been their bye week, so they don't lose a home game.
