Cowboys' McFadden among inactives vs. Giants
Darren McFadden will not be in the Dallas Cowboys' lineup Sunday night against the New York Giants, according to team writer David Helman, as he will be inactive.
The move marks the first time in McFadden's nine-year career that he'll be a healthy scratch.
The news isn't a huge surprise given that Ezekiel Elliott is eligible for the contest after a judge granted a preliminary injunction allowing him to play while his six-game suspension is appealed.
With McFadden out of the lineup, Alfred Morris and Rod Smith will serve as the backups for Elliott against the Giants.
The Cowboys also listed quarterback Cooper Rush, cornerbacks Bene Benwikere and Jourdan Lewis, linebacker Anthony Hitchens, guard Jonathan Cooper, and receiver Noah Brown as inactive.
