The Oakland Raiders and starting left tackle Donald Penn are still discussing a possible new deal after the veteran ended his holdout in late August, according to NFL Network's Mike Silver.
Silver notes the situation should be resolved in the near future, whether or not Penn is ultimately given a new contract.
Penn is scheduled to become a free agent following the 2017 campaign and will earn $7.15 million this season. The 34-year-old has been the Raiders' starting left tackle since 2014 and made his second career Pro Bowl in 2016.
