Maryland offering $10K to student in crowd if team returns punt for TD
Maryland students have an added incentive to attend the Terrapins home opener against Towson on Saturday, as the school announced they will pay $10,000 to a student in attendance if the team scores a second half punt return touchdown.

Coming off a massive upset of Texas last week, the buzz around the Terrapins program hasn't been this high in a long time. The school averaged over 39,000 fans per home game last year, and with this promotion it wouldn't be shocking to see that number rise.
Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated raised an interesting question upon hearing of the promotion, asking if the player who runs the kick back is eligible for the money. That player would be, after all, a student who is in attendance.
Can it be the student who runs the kick back or nah https://t.co/qY40nwKQrQ
