The Tampa Bay Rays are heading home.

The Rays were forced to play their home series with the New York Yankees at Citi Field in Queens this week following Hurricane Irma, but they'll head back to Tropicana Field for a weekend series against the Boston Red Sox, the team announced Wednesday.

The Rays will finish their three-game set in New York on Wednesday and will fly back to Tampa Bay after the game.

The status of their weekend series with the Red Sox was up in the air following the hurricane, but it's been determined that Tropicana Field didn't suffer major damage. Pinellas County is still experiencing power outages, however.

The Rays last played at The Trop on Sept. 6.
