Florida to stick with Franks at QB

There won't be a change at quarterback for Florida this week.
Gators head coach Jim McElwain announced Monday that Feleipe Franks would remain the starter for Saturday's game at Northern Colorado. Franks started in Florida's loss to Michigan, but McElwain said afterwards he would look at the quarterback situation.
However, it appears starting Franks again was the plan all along.
Franks went just 5-of-9 for 75 yards before Malik Zaire took over and didn't perform much better. Zaire came to the Gators in the offseason as a grad transfer from Notre Dame, but was beaten out for the job in fall camp by Franks.
