Thomas' 3rd-round 63 was filled with crazy numbers
Justin Thomas has produced some wild rounds this season on the PGA Tour, and Sunday's third-round 63 at the Dell Technologies Championship is right up there.
Thomas grabbed a share of the 54-hole lead with Marc Leishman at 12-under par, and in typical JT fashion it wasn't dull.
Here are some incredible stats by the numbers from Thomas' third round:

The PGA champion's round was the lowest of the week at TPC Boston, but it actually could've, and should've, been better. Of the three par 5's on the course, Thomas birdied none of them. The 24-year-old failed to convert a 14-foot birdie putt at No. 2, missed another 14-footer at No. 7, and had to get up-and-down to save par at No. 18.
"It's crazy to think I played the par 5s in even par," Thomas told Steve Sands of the Golf Channel. "That just drives me crazy … still."

Thomas produced his second straight bogey-free round on Sunday, and has made just one blemish through three rounds in Boston. The Alabama alum's only bogey came at the par-4 fifth on Friday, when he three-putted from 61 feet. The stat is even more impressive considering he failed to find the green in regulation eight times on Saturday, but saved par on every attempt.

The eight birdies were very impressive by Thomas, but writing 12 threes on his scorecard was something no one had ever accomplished in FedEx Cup playoff history. Thomas made six threes on the front nine, then made the same amount on the back.

If there was one club that was key for JT, it was definitely the putter. Thomas holed 42 feet of putts on the front nine, which is average. However, on the back nine, he dropped some serious bombs - like a 49-foot birdie putt at the par-4 12th.
"I'm just trying to make par everyday on that hole, and I got a pretty good read from Gracie (Branden Grace)," said Thomas. "It was just one of those feelings that I saw the line enough to try and make it."
Thomas would go on to hole 116 feet of putts on the back, for a total of 156 feet with the flatstick. By comparison, the Kentuckian made 145 feet in Rounds 1 and 2 combined.
