Florida's Miller, Robinson charged with marijuana possession

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The off-field issues for Florida continued this week as Ventrell Miller and James Robinson were charged with marijuana possession at their on-campus apartment, according to a university police report obtained by Matthew Head and Neal Bennett of First Coast News.

Miller, a freshman linebacker, was one of seven players already suspended for the opener against Michigan for using university-issued credit cards to buy electronics and then sell them for profit.

Robinson was one of the prized players in the Gators' 2017 recruiting class, but came to the SEC school with a citation for marijuana possession already on his record from an official visit to Ohio State.

With star wideout Antonio Callaway already suspended for the Wolverines matchup, losing Robinson would certainly put even further stress on the passing game.
