The Mountain West Conference has partnered with Facebook to air six games during the 2017 season exclusively on the social media platform.
"We are continually exploring ways by which we can innovate and expand the visibility of our Conference membership," commissioner Craig Thompson said in a statement. "Through our partnership with Stadium, we're excited to offer our football product on the world's most widely used social media platform."
The six-game deal will feature four non-conference contests, highlighted by the rivalry between New Mexico and New Mexico State on Sept. 9. Highly touted Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen will be featured twice on the broadcasts, including an Oct. 14 matchup against Utah State.
