Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta says he could leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

A rarity in the modern game as a one-club player since he joined the Catalan's famed La Masia academy in 1996, Iniesta admits he has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

"I've still not renewed," Iniesta told El Pais, courtesy of ESPN FC.

"I've experienced a lot of sensations I've not known before, but I think they're normal. It's a scenario which three years ago I could never have imagined," the 33-year-old midfield star added.

"Let's say I'm thinking about my future when before I wasn't."

Iniesta's most recent comments follow similar ones made in May, and while the World Cup-winning Spanish international is unsure what the future holds, the three-time Ballon d'Or finalist's latest remarks hint at a lack of respect among the Barcelona brass on the heels of Neymar's blockbuster move to Paris Saint-Germain.

"We all like to be appreciated, valued and respected," Iniesta said when asked about his relationship with the club. "I have always felt affection and respect from everyone here, but it's also clear that at this club you can never lose respect toward people that have given their lives for these colours.

"That should never be lost, and sometimes you get the sensation that it is."
