Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been given the green light to try and sign Antonio Candreva out of Internazionale and has £25 million in funds to do so, reports John Cross of the Mirror.

Inter is reportedly willing to sell the Italian wide attacker for that figure, and the player too is keen on joining Conte to play at right wing-back in the Blues' 3-4-3 formation.

Candreva, 30, joined Inter in 2016 and has made 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals. Though he has often figured in Inter's plans, he hasn't replicated his form at Lazio while under the lights at the San Siro.

Cross goes on to report that the Italy international is just one of Conte's targets for the final weeks of the summer transfer window, alongside Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater and Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
