Colon becomes 18th pitcher to beat all 30 teams

Bartolo Colon added another impressive achievement to his extensive resume Sunday.

Afforded a nine-run lead in the first inning at Target Field, the 44-year-old right-hander - who joined the Minnesota Twins' rotation in July - secured that elusive first career victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks, making him just the 18th pitcher since the league expanded in 1998 to beat all 30 MLB teams.

Colon, who allowed four runs over six innings in Minnesota's 12-5 victory, came into Sunday's game winless in four career starts against the Diamondbacks despite putting up a 3.42 ERA in his 23 2/3 innings against Arizona.
