Watch: Tigers' Upton sheepishly retreats to touch 1B during HR trot

Justin Upton just wanted to make sure.
The Detroit Tigers outfielder belted a Rich Hill offering over the left-field fence of Comerica Park on Friday night - which was nearly caught by Cody Bellinger - for a home run, but during his slow trot around the bags, Upton decided to turn back after rounding second base, creating a head-scratching moment for viewers.
It turns out Upton thought he may have missed the bag at first and just wanted to make sure he did indeed touch it. He'd continue his trot around the bags with what looked to be an embarrassed smile upon his face.
