The Los Angeles Clippers have found their new general manager, and his name is Michael Winger.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder executive has agreed in principle to become the GM of the Clippers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Los Angeles will also be bringing on Cleveland Cavaliers executive Trent Redden to serve as assistant GM.

The position was reportedly offered to Winger late last week, with the two sides coming to terms on a multi-year contract.

Winger had been with the Thunder for seven years, working alongside Sam Presti. He was also with the Cavaliers under former GM Danny Ferry for five years before heading to OKC in 2010.

He'll now report to new president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank, who took over the role when Doc Rivers stepped down to stick strictly to coaching.

The Clippers have qualified for the playoffs for six straight years, but didn't get to the Western Conference finals once during that span. The roster has undergone a major overhaul this summer after the team moved Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets, with the likes of Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, and Sam Dekker, along with free agents Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic, joining Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
