Texas' Warren III returns to practice after concussion

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Texas fans can breath a sigh of relief, as running back Chris Warren III fully participated in practice after suffering a concussion Saturday, according to Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods.com.

Warren took part in limited practice Monday, and his return to full participation all but assures he's cleared concussion protocol.

His prompt return to practice is surely a relief for Texas, as Warren is expected to be a primary contender for the bulk of touches out of the Longhorns backfield.

Warren posted back-to-back 100-yard performances on the ground against California and Oklahoma State in Texas' third and fourth games last season before suffering what amounted to a season-ending knee injury.
