Watch: Rock climber slides down iceberg on inflatable pizza slice
American rock climber Ethan Pringle found the perfect way to cap off a six-week expedition to Southeast Greenland, and, thankfully, National Geographic was there to capture it.
As Pringle explained in an Instagram post, Mike Libecki, a fellow climber who accompanied him on the trip, brought the inflatable pizza slice to Greenland so he could float down a river on it. Pringle decided that before they left the country, he was going to take the pizza slice on a thrilling ride down an iceberg and into the North Atlantic.
"On our second to last day on the boat headed back to civilization we came across the perfect iceberg - a big ole mother with a long, perfectly angled slope that led to a 20 foot drop off," Pringle wrote. "Well I'm here to tell you folks, pizzas can fly and dreams do come true."
